    Hi,

I have the pdf for swiss pass coverage, but still its not clear whether the cable cars, and trains from murrren to Gimmerwalk, Shiltorn, Schtelberg etc are included in Swiss pass . Could anyone please advice.

If they are not covered, which website should I look for, to estimate the cost of travel?

Also, the sbb wesbite, is not showing SWISS PAss in reduction dropdown. Am I missing something. I was trying to look it for journey from Lucerne to Interlaken Ost. Attached is the screenshot for the same.

    Thanks,

    Hi meghaofdelhi,

Welcome to MySwissAlps! I assume you’re asking about the Swiss Travel Pass, right? The Swiss Pass is something different, see here.

All about the Swiss Travel Pass coverage can be found on myswissalps.com/ swisstravelpass/validi ty. You probably already have the map you can download from that page. You can zoom in on the area you mentioned to see what’s included and what’s discounted. Gimmelwald and Stechelberg can be reached for free. You’ll get a 50% discount on the Schilthorn cable car from Mürren upwards. Mind the spelling of all places if you’re looking for schedules or prices.

You don’t need the SBB website. All trains are free with your pass so you don’t need to book any tickets. For a few scenic trains you need a seat reservation only (you don’t need this for Lucerne to Interlaken). The fares of cable cars which are not free can be found on the site of that specific cable car. There are links on our attraction pages, like the Schilthorn page: myswissalps.com/ schilthorn/tickets.

Note that you can get $50 off your pass now, please see http://www.raileurope.com/rai l-tickets-passes/swiss-pass/index.html, or here for the forum thread.

I hope this helps you out!
