I have purchased a Swiss pass for family of 4 traveling in June. Is the leg of the trip from Luzern to Interlaken where we will change to go to Murren, a segment of the Golden pass line? On the map it looks like only one red line so I am assuming this is a segment of the Golden pass and then it continues on to Montreux? Do we need a reservation for this segment of the trip? We will be traveling to Murren from Salzburg and this will be a long day, but I thought if the Golden pass was a different line that we could take this route when we are leaving Murren and going back up to Luzern for a few days and then departing from Zurich to home. Thank you

    Hi EB,

Luzern to Interlaken is indeed a segment of the Golden Pass line. Please see here for the route in detail, and a map. You don’t need a reservation. Click ‘Tickets’ on the page I just gave you for details about that.

    Enjoy the ride!
