Can i know which swiss pass should I buy to cover every route including from and to geneva inclusive the golden pass? We will taking a train back from interlaken to Geneva, to catch flight back

    – For the Golden pass train route to montreax, how long is the journey frm interlaken? Is it free seating for this train?

    Welcome mishazlin!

The rail pass that covers most routes is the Swiss Travel Pass. The Golden Pass train is included as well. A 4 day Swiss Travel Pass may suit you, assuming the total duration of your stay is 4 days. Please find details, including a validity overview and a list of resellers, at our Swiss Travel Pass page.

Just a note on your itinerary: it’s not convenient to make the Golden Pass journey to Montreux once you’re in Interlaken. It makes more sense to use it when traveling from Geneva to Interlaken, which can perfectly be done using this route. The Golden Pass starts in Montreux, which is quite close to Geneva. You can study details at our Golden Pass page.
