Not really sure how the saver pass works. Is only one pass issued for two people or does each one get their own pass? If I get a saver pass with my wife and want to travel with my Dad, I assume that she couldn’t travel that day even if she went with someone else with a saver pass. Is that correct?

    Hi podjo,

A Swiss Saver Pass is one travel document for all travelers. It allows the entire group to travel together at a discounted rate (it’s about 15% cheaper than individual passes). Part of the group can travel together, but the remaining travelers can not use the pass then.

    Hello Bushan,

With a Swiss Pass you will be able to use all forms of public transportation, except for trains for which reservation is necessary. In that case you will have to pay for the reservation.
You will find an overview of the network on which the Swiss Pass is valid on the Swiss Pass page, I think this overview may be very helpful to you.

    Good luck planning your vacation!
