Are these routes valid for using the Swiss Transfer Ticket ?
    1. Basel – Lucerne – Chiasso
( is this longer than via Zurich)
    2. Domodossola – Thun – Basel
( Domodossola is not a Swiss border but covered by the Swiss Transfer Ticket)

    Thank you for all advices.

Welcome KDomodossola! Yes, the Swiss Transfer Ticket can be used for both routes. It’s valid at either the most direct or the cheapest routes, as proposed by the Swiss timetable. Basel-Lucerne-Chiasso is slightly longer than via Zurich, but it’s displayed as a default route by the timetable and it’s equally expensive as the Zurich variant. Domodossola is part of Swiss Transfer Ticket validity network (the map can be downloaded here) and the regular route to Basel runs through Thun.
