    Hi there

We are travelling to Interlaken in the month of July 2011, I have some confusion, can some body help !!

    1) We will be travelling to Interlaken by Car in July 2011, need to know nice places to see around

    2) We will stay 3 days at Interlaken hotel, would like to see Mount Titlis, what are the best way to visit, Car to Engelberg and then take a train from there, or direct train from Interlaken, Please advise with the best and cheap option

    3) If we drive to Engelberg, Is there parking facility available? Or train is the best option to save charges?

    Please advise

    Hi SP, and welcome!

    1) Our Bernese Oberland day trip overview lists tips for sightseeing and mountain excursions around Interlaken.

    2) and 3) You can get to Engelberg either by car (there’s a parking lot at the valley station of Mt. Titlis) or train. I personally like the train ride, which has steep cog railway sections and nice views. From Engelberg, a cable car leaves for Mt. Titlis. Trips can be planned using the online timetable.
