We had a wonderful (but too short) stay in Ringoldswil close to Interlaken. The 1st class Swiss Travel Pass was a great way to reduce the complexity of public transport and made this part of our holiday extra care free and relaxing.

We went up Jungfraujoch, did the Wilhelm Tell route, and also rode the funicular and cable car to Niederhorn.

We did all our shopping at the Coop stores, which worked out great for us. We used the sim card from Simlystore which also worked perfectly, since we were visiting 3 more countries.

The tip from Arno to use the car train from Kandersteg to Goppenstein on our way to La Spezia (Italy) was very useful and saved us a lot of frustration by avoiding the Gotthard pass – which seemed heavily traffic jammed when we did the Wilhelm Tell route.

Thank you for your feedback jpswart82. It sounds like you had a great first impression of what the Swiss Alps have to offer. Do come back for more if you can!

    All the best,

    Arno
