    Hi,

Please advise is it a good time to visit Switzerland between 10th – 17th October. We will be covering Lucerne, Wengen & Zermatt. Kindly advise if these areas will be suitable for us in autumn.

    TIA

    Welcome to MySwissAlps, Tia!

Whether this period is suitable for you, depends on your plans and wishes. Generally, you can still make beautiful hikes and visit viewing points. You should pay extra attention to opening hours of mountain transportation though, as you’re traveling by the end of summer the season. It’s very hard to tell what the weather will be like, but that goes for any season in Switzerland.

These tips on how to plan your stay may be of help.
