I am searching for train routes for a trip in October. The journeys seem to include different types such as: RE 3207IR towards Luzern, IC towards Interlaken Ost, BUS towards Lauterbrunnen, ICE 1061R 149

Would you advise on buying tickets in advance or from the station there? Is there some sort of a day/week pass which includes all types of transportation?

    thanks.

    Hello famtrav!

I suggest you first decide whether you need a rail pass. You may not need additional train tickets at all if you have one.

Here‘s an overview of all passes, and this guide allows you to find out which one suits your needs best. If you have follow-up questions, we’re happy to help you out!
