    Dear msaadm,

We are planning to travel to different countries in Europe and to Switzerland on the 12th October. We have some questions:
    1. If we get the Tell pass, can it be delivered before we leave Australia on the 21st of September? Or can it be booked online and pick up at a Swiss station? Or can it be sent to us as an e ticket and validate once we arrive in Switzerland?
    2. When we fill in the order for the pass on the web there are options for Swiss Card/half fare card, Swiss pass on the site of Tell Pass. Does it mean that one of these passes is included with the Tell Pass or do we have to purchase one of theses passes to use with the Tell Pass?
    Thank you
    Voly50

Hi voly50, and welcome to the forum! If you order your Tell Passes through the agent Switzerland Travel Centre, they will be sent to Australia. If you want to make use of the current 2 for 1 offer, you can only order this online: as far as we know this offer isn’t for sale in Switzerland. The passes will be delivered 2 to 3 weeks prior to the start date of the pass. In your case that may be a problem, as you’re leaving a few weeks earlier. But I would recommend to simply ask for your passes to be delivered right after ordering, because of your departure date from Australia. You can describe this in the field ‘notes’ when ordering.

The options for Swiss Card, Swiss Pass etc. are there to select the right pass fare. That’s because holders of a Swiss (Half Fare) Card and Swiss (Flexi) Pass are entitled to reduced rates for regional passes. If you don’t possess such a pass, just select the regular ‘Adults’ fare.
