    Hi everyone,

Here’s a tip for hikers and mountain enthusiasts: with the PeakVisor app, you can point your smartphone (or tablet) camera to a mountain and it will tell you its name and altitude. It also shows mountain huts and castles. A very good way to get to know your surroundings and discover things you would not have noticed otherwise! The app also lets you take pictures of mountains with an overlay showing names and altitudes. PeakVisor allows you to load maps on your phone so it can access all data without an internet connection.

There is an iPhone and Android app. The Android version offers the basic features only, but will soon include everything of the iPhone version too.
