Ticino Ticket from check in date to check out date

    Hi,

    We shall be travelling to Lugano in June and after spending 4 days there, we plan to visit and stay at Interlaken & visit Jungfrau region for 3 days.

    I understand from Ticino tourism website that hotels in Lugano will offer complimentary Ticino Ticket to tourists on arrival & Ticino Ticket provides free travel on SBB & other designated trains, Post busses & other local busses and discounted travel on cable cars and boats in Ticino region.

    Is this correct ? Is the Ticino Ticket valid from Check In date till Check Out date?

    Earlier we were planning to purchase 8 Day Swiss Travel Pass for entire travel, but if Ticino ticket is included in hotel costs, then I need to buy Swiss Travel Pass for 3 Days (Interlaken part of tour) only.
