Hi,

I will be staying in Ascona for (almost) four nights – we have an early flight to catch from Malpensa on the Saturday morning, so plan to travel to Italy late Friday. The Hotel we are staying at will provide us with a Ticino Ticket. Can anyone confirm that the Ticino Ticket will cover free train travel from Locarno to Chiasso, please? I’m pretty sure that it does but wanted to check before I do my final calculations using the very, very handy rail pass spreadsheet. A big thank you to whoever created this.
