    Hi Doris,

    >> we will stay at Grindelward for three days and want to ensure something concerning our trip to Jungfraujoch … how much is the ticket fee to the area with STP

With the Swiss Travel Pass, travel to Grindelwald (or Wengen) is free. Between Grindelwald or Wengen and the Jungfraujoch, you get a 25% discount. Full fare prices are here:

    http://www.jungfrau.ch/filead min/Prospekte_und_Bros chueren/Jungfraubahnen _Fahrpreise_Preisliste .pdf

    >> does it require advance reservation

Reservations are not possible between Interlaken and Kleine Scheidegg. Reservations are possible (but not mandatory) between Kleine Scheidegg and the Jungfraujoch.

If you are travelling in July or August, a reservation might be a good idea. You can make them at any staffed station in the Jungfrau Region (e.g. Interlaken Ost, Grindelwald, Wengen), but it would not be a good idea to make a reservation until you know that the weather will be clear on the Jungfraujoch – 24-48 hours beforehand at the most.

    >> Where can I buy this ticket?

You can buy a ticket (as opposed to a reservation) at any staffed station in Switzerland, but don’t buy it until you know the weather will be clear on the Jungfraujoch.

    >> Is there any online booking? Is it necessary to print them out ?

Yes, you can buy your ticket online, and you do need access to a printer to print it out. Buying online commits you to a particular date of travel, and you cannot change it or get a refund if the weather is poor. Not such a good idea in most cases 😉

    Hi Alpenrose666

We still have doubts as below:

Does the Swiss Travel Pass entitles 25% discount in buying the morning ticket for Jungfraujoch? Is the morning ticket a one way travel to Jungfraujoch and we need to buy another return ticket to Grindelwald?

    thank you for your clarification

    Hi Doris,

The Good Morning ticket can’t be further discounted with any rail pass unfortunately. The discount is almost the same as the Swiss Travel Pass but you must go early in the day – there is no time restriction if you travel on the Swiss Travel Pass.
