Towel service at cabanes on Haute Route

    Hi:

    We are hiking the Haute Route and are wondering if we should carry pack towels or not.

    Does Cabane du Mont Fort supply towels?

    Does Cabane de Louvie supply towels?

    Does Cabane des Dix supply towels?

    Does Cabane de Moiry supply towels?

    Hello,

    I have not been recently in the cabanes you mention, but the general rule is that toilet paper is available, but it is a good idea to take some along. Shower towels are not available, so take a small microfiber towel. You won’t be able to take a shower (as a rule), so the towel is just for wiping your face, really…

    Blankets will be provided, but no bedsheets, so take a silk sleeping bag with you.
