we plan on traveling from andermatt to lucerne via regular train on July24. We have swiss travel passes. I looked at the schedule and see the following statement: Reservation Required
This train requires travelers with a rail pass to purchase a reservation but we are unable to find reservations that are compatible with your rail pass for this train. I’m not sure if this means I can’t use the swiss travel pass for this and need to pay separately or something else. Please help. Thank you

You have not mentioned what website you are looking at, or what your preferred departure time from Andermatt is on 24 July.
The only departure from Andermatt on 24 July that requires a reservation is that at 12:53, which connects with the official Gotthard Panorama Express at Göschenen.
Departures from Andermatt to Luzern at 41 minutes past the hour are normal trains and do not require a reservation. They will be free with your Swiss Travel Pass. Use the Swiss Timetable to find details for your preferred departure time, and avoid the departure from Andermatt at 12:53. Some other connections involve a bus sector, so you will probabaly want to avoid those as well – just select one of the departures at 41 minutes past the hour and expand your selection to see details of transfer points etc.
