We are traveling from Zurich to Lucerne to Zermatt to Interlaken to Geneva and back to Zurich. We are spending approximately 2-3 days @ each destination. What is the best rail pass to purchase?

Most probably the 15 day Swiss Travel Pass will be best. But the answer depends on the day trips you intend to make (train, boat, cable car, museums). Please see these pages for further details:
