    Hi tesarosh,

I have already explained in your other topic that the Trip Reports forum is not the place to post questions. It is for reports about completed trips. Please stick to the forum rules to keep things organized and pleasant for everybody. Thanks for your cooperation!

    As for your questions:

    1) From Interlaken, you can reach a lot of places for day trips, but you can’t realistically cover all of Switzerland. So you can either pick a second base town (see here for cheap hotels) or just settle for what you can do from Interlaken. There are plenty of options to fill 9 days.

    2) 4) How to compose an itinerary is explained here. You seem to be traveling a lot while in Switzerland, so a Swiss Saver Pass would be the best choice since it allows unlimited free trips by trains, buses, boats and some cable cars. You can get an additional discount as announced here. It is valid for people from India and the UAE too.

    3) The train ride to Zermatt is free with a Swiss Pass, and the cable cars are discounted by 50%. For details you can best download the Swiss Pass map.

    5) The timetable will show you how to travel for your specific date and time. Where you cross the border may vary.

    I hope this was useful!
