Does anyone know if it will be possible to visit Jungfraujoch on 25 December? Will all trains from Lauterbrunnen or Interlaken run normal schedules on Christmas Day?

    Hi Christo,

Yes, trains to Jungfraujoch run every day of the year – possibly on a more limited schedule but you won’t have issues getting anywhere.

Thanks Lukas. I suppose the weather can be quite unpredictable during the winter, so it is advisable not to buy any tickets in advance for a specific day?

Yes, we recommend not buying tickets until the day of or day before departure (any time of the year) to be sure about reasonable weather – the concern typically being cloud cover and how much you can or can not see up there.
