My wife and me are elderly couple (early sixties) who are going to visit Switzeland in November, from 10 to 13. We will be arriving around 10am on the 10th and fly back to London at 4pm on the 13th. We plan to make Zurich as our base and would like to cover as much interesting places in the country as possible with the 3 days Swiss Travel Pass. Can you please suggest the most interesting places suitable for our age to visit during our stay using the Swiss Card. Thank you.

I would suggest Lucerne as your base. Zurich is not near the Alps, and I assume that’s the area you’d like to see. Lucerne is, and it’s a pretty old town. The below pages will get you started:
