    Hello –

I will be visiting switzerland mid August for 5 days with my wife and 5 year old daughter.

    Please advise

    1) the best (not too pricy) place, centrally located to stay

    2) places must see.

    3) how to travel to visit popular locations.

    4) can I visit attractions on my own or tour recommended?

    5) vegetarian/indian food options near by?

    Hello,

Do you already read MySwissAlps ? There is a lot of information for you.

Switzerland is a pricey country, not only the hotels, but also traveling.

What part of Switzerland do you want to visit ? You can visit all the popular locations by train, bus, boat and cable car.

You can visit all the locations and attractions on your own.

You are in Switzerland, try to eat the local food. It it very good.

    Hi tushar9, welcome to MySwissAlps,

Lucerne could be an option. All supermarkets sell lots of excellent vegetarian food, and almost all restaurants offers vegetarian dishes.
