I’m planning to be in your place next week and do the First-Bachalpsee trail and Mannliche – Kleine Scheidegg trail.
are the trails open and clear of snow?
are there a lot of mud after a day of rain?
Are sport shoes enough or boots are required??

My friend will join me (coming with train) to Kleine Scheidegg does she need a special shoes or regular shoes are enough? Is it slippery around the restaurant?

    Hi bat23,

You would normally need hiking shoes, but these trails are fairly easy so sport shoes will do if there is no snow (please check that once you’re there).

Any type of shoe will do to just visit Kleine Scheidegg.

    Enjoy it!
