Hello Briggs and welcome to the forum!

The Tourist Office in Wengen has good suggestions and descriptions for easy loop walks from Wengen. Suggest that you check with them when you arrive. Their office is very easy to find, directly next to the Männlichen gondola station (which you can’t miss).

There is a great deal of information on Wengen and the area in three PDFs that you can find at http://www.myswissalps.com/fo rum/topic/tips-about-wengen-and-the-jungfrau-region-by-kim

    Also –

    http://www.jungfrau.ch/en/som mer/tourism/destinatio ns/kleine-scheidegg/hiking-trails/

That site is reasonably up to date, but in the Alps weather is difficult to forecast very far in advance. Various towns in the BO have signboards near the train stations, showing which trails are open.

Kim’s advice to check at tourist offices or train stations is absolutelyy the way to go.
