    Hi everyone!

I will be in Zurich during my travel and I would like to take a trip on Zurich Lake, the last day of the year before new year’s celebration.

I know there are 1,30 hour and 4 hour trips, but I couldn’t find enough information.

    1. Are those trips free with swiss travel pass?

    2. From your experience, what is the best one?

    3. Do you know where can I found every information that I need?

    Thank you so much!

    Hi simoneb94,

    1. All travelers need to pay a CHF 5 surcharge per day. Swiss Travel Pass holders do not need to pay for a ticket though.

    2. The 4 hour round trip allows you to see most of the lake. Twice actually: one way is along the northern shore and one way along the southern shore. If you don’t have that much time you can do it one way to Rapperswil, for example, and take a train back.

    3. Our Swiss Travel Pass page and Lake Zurich page offer all information you need, plus links to more details.
