    Hello all,

We are staying near Engelberg mid August for 2 weeks. My wife needs Gluten free products but we are struggling to find which supermarkets sell them and the addresses of the shops.. Would anyone be able to help in offering advise on names and places around this area please. How common are these products sold in supermarkets.. Products would be mainly bread / pasta or ready meals. Also regarding restaurants, is Gluten free food advertised?

    thanks in advance

Although this thread is about Wengen, it might still be useful. It should not be that hard to purchase gluten free products in Engelberg either. There’s a Coop supermarket in town, and according to their website they sell all kinds of gluten free products like snacks, pizza and pasta. Look for products with “Schär” on the package, and with the symbol you can find on their webpage: http://www.coop.ch/pb/site/fr eefrom/node/78486797/L de/index.html.
