Which Pass?

    Hi

My husband & I will be in Switzerland for in May, visiting our family who live in the village of Trelex, on the mountain train line from Nyon.

We arrive on 1st May & leave on the 31st, but for 10 days of that time will fly to Hungary
    from Geneva

In Switzerland we fly into & out of Zurich & will catch the train to & from Nyon, where they will meet us.

Whilst there we will probably use trains (including the mountain train ) for day visits in the region, apart from visiting places by car with the family

We are unsure whether to get a Swiss Card or a Half Fare card & would appreciate your advice. We will buy either at Zurich Airport train station, as postage cost are high to Australia

    Thankyou & Regards
    Judy

    Hi Judy,

You would be slightly better off with the Swiss Card. For details and ordering, please visit the Swiss Card page. Two Swiss Cards would cost CHF 372 in Switzerland. When purchased in advance from Australia, it would cost AUD 412 including shipping, which is about CHF 385.

    Enjoy your stay!
