    Hi,
We ( Husband, wife & 9 yr old child) are travelling to Zurich on the 3rd Aug to visit Switzerland for 10 days ( return from zurich on 12th Aug).
    Our itenary is as follows:
    3 & 4th: Lucerne 2 days ( Lucerne city tour + Mt Titlis)
    5th, 6, 7 & 8th: Interlaken 4 days ( from Interlaken vist Jungfrauich+Muren+Montreux+zermatt each day and back to Interlaken)
    9th Berne
10th Chur ( bernina express to Tirino & back)
    11th :Basel & Rhine falls)
12th :Zurich ( Return flight at 12 noon)

We don’t intend to travel too much as such we would like to take it easy and explore each places at leisurely pace.
Can somebody advise if we should go for Swiss pass/Swiss flexi pass or Swiss Half fare.?
Is swiss pass available for 9 or 10 days?, if not then will 8 day pass will entitle us for any discounts on the remaining 2 days?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello gangulys,
Welcome to our website! I would take an 8-day Swiss Saver Pass for your itinerary. If you travel back to Zurich on the 11th and stay somewhere close to the airport, you would only need an additional regular ticket Zurich airport – Lucerne for the 3th.
All details about the Swiss Pass, including the number of days available, are listed here. Please check whether you qualify for this promotion. You can only use the pass for the number of days you pick.
I hope this answers your question.

    Hi Arno,
Thanks a lot.! One more query we have. We are presently residents of Kuwait…is there any promotion applicable for us?..
Where should we buy this Pass?….from authorized agents here in kuwait or in Zurich airport after landing or thru the promotion if available?…is there any advantage in buying this earlier from agents here like any discount or the price remains same? Also we presume since these are passes and not tickets/reservations, there are no chances of these getting finished/sold out.

    thanks again.
    regards

    Hi gangulys,

Passes can indeed not sell out. Buying in advance is cheaper in most cases. For Kuwait as well, and it will even get cheaper with the promotion that Rail Europe GCC currently offers.

You can buy them from Al Ghanim Travels on Fahad Salem street in Kuwait City. They are agents of Rail Europe in Kuwait. Request for a family card as well if you are buying Swiss saver pass. But check the price on the net before you go there.
