Hello!

We we are two travelers from the US, traveling with the eurorail throughout Europe. I understand that I need to book these two trains and pay the surcharge (and will gladly do so) – but I cannot find how to do this reliably online (we cannot call since we don’t have the local sim).

Hi Rotem,

Welcome to MySwissAlps! You mentioned eurorail. Do you mean you have a Eurail Pass? If so, the Golden Pass line is free and the Wilhelm Tell Express route too. Seat reservations, and in case of the Wilhelm Tell Express, the special tourist package, are all optional. No need to spend money on it unless you want to. You’ll find details and booking links here:
