    Hi

As per the validity map for Swiss travel, pass the trip on William Tell Express (boat trip from Lucerne to Flüelen) is free . However, I noticed on many places that it requires a first class pass or an upgrade ticket.

I need your help,to clarify this for me.

    regds.

    Hi Bashnaini,

It’s indeed free. Traveling 1st class and paying a surcharge is optional, if you prefer the tourist package. You’ll find details on http://www.myswissalps.com/wi lhelmtellexpress, under “Regular trains and boats versus the official Wilhelm Tell Express”.
