Dear Mod, few questions here. really hope u can help us on this:
    1) which one is the best to visit for the best Swiss experience? zermat or jungfraujoch?
    2) does the swiss saver pass 2 for 1 promotional pass cover transfer from zurich to zermat/jungfraujoch?

    3) I wanna fully utilise the 4 day pass, but cannot decide where to go/visit. Here’s my plan so far, hope u can comment on this itinerary:

5 April – arrive in Zurich, take train (hope this includes in Swiss Saver 2 for 1 Pass) to Zermat/Jungfraujoch (stay for 2 night)

    6 April – spend day in zermat/jungfraujoch

7 April – depart to lake lucerne (don’t know whether is there any direct train to lucerne from zermat/jungfraujoch) – stay 1 night in lake lucerne (any budget accomodation there?)

8 April – spend day in lucerne and then depart to vienna at night

any comment/advice (with cheapest recommendation, pls)?

Hi mizakru, and welcome! If you arrive in Zurich, it makes more sense to visit the Jungfraujoch, as that’s a lot closer to Zurich than Zermatt. The timetable allows you to find detailed information on each of your trips.

The 2 for 1 offer on the 4 day Swiss Saver Pass will cover all your trips by regular train and boat. The leg up to the Jungfraujoch is discounted by 25% up from Wengen/Grindelwald. The overview map we link to from the Swiss Pass page shows the exact area of validity. The pass will also cover the Swiss leg of your outbound trip to Vienna.

Another tip: we will soon add lists of affordable and centrally located hotels in Interlaken (close to the Jungfraujoch) and Lucerne at our hotel page.

Hello mizakru. Prices for regular train and bus trips, such as your trip to Zermatt, can be found through the timetable. Prices for the Jungfraujoch are listed at the Jungfrau railways website.
