Zermatt: Gornergrat or Kleine Matterhorn?

    If we will only be in Zermatt (June, family of 7, mostly adults) for one day: which would be better: Gornergrat or Kleine Matterhorn? What are the pros and cons of either?

    You can best have a look at the details and pictures so you can decide which you like best:

    I prefer Gornergrat for the Matterhorn view, but everyone has their own preferences, and both are definitely great in good weather conditions.

    You should visit both stations – try to get up early with the train to Gornergrat, opposite of the train station. Come down at 12:00 h, take the free bus to the cable car and get the tickets for the Klein Matterhorn. But as the other fellow said: It is only worth to visit theses stations, when you have absolutely clear weather with no clowds.
