    Hi,

From Zurich I want to go to Interlaken via Lucerne.

I want to visit Mt Pilatus(cog wheel train) and also see Lucerne.

I want to take the 1605 train to Interlaken from Lucerne.

What all should we see in Lucerne and the time required.

Please advise the best way for seeing Lucerne, Mt Pilatus and Interlaken.

    Thanks,

    Sanjay.

    Hi Sanjay,

Thanks for joining us! You can best start with these planning tips. They help you to prepare a trip based on your personal interests and the available time and budget. It also matters when you are traveling. Once you have a plan, you can select a rail pass as explained here.

You can easily stay in Lucerne for a week or much longer and do something different every day, either in town or the region. Interlaken is not that interesting as a town, but the region is wonderful and a week there is certainly not too much either. Please see the links to get started and find tips.
