Zurich on Swiss National Day

    We will be visiting Zurich on Swiss National Day. Are there any parades / events/ festivities that are worth watching? Will places of interest be open to public on 1 August?

    Hi Harsha,

    I’m sure Zurich will be worth visiting on August 1. There will be August 1 celebrations in the town center. Some stores will most probably be closed. Many, but not all, museums will be open.
