Introduction

The only national park in Switzerland is situated in the east of Graubünden at the Italian border. One of many hikes starts at the hotel of Il Fuorn and leads to the viewing point Grimmels.

Transportation to Il Fuorn

Il Fuorn can be reached by bus or by car from Zernez or Müstair. There is a train station in Zernez. Will you be traveling to and from hiking areas frequently? A Swiss Pass or one of the other passes grants easy access to the entire Swiss Travel System (trains, buses, boats and mountain transportation).

Route description

Follow the signs to Grimmels. The route primarily crosses woods and it continuously ascends until you have reached the meadows of Grimmels. Take the same way back to your starting point.
