Introduction

During this hike, you will walk through a landscape that is very typical of the Jungfrau region: you will pass meadows with a view to the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau at your right, and the railway between Wengernalp and Kleine Scheidegg at your left. You will continuously ascend during this route, which is part of the longer route Wengen - Kleine Scheidegg.

Transportation to Wengernalp

Wengernalp can only be reached from Kleine Scheidegg/Grindelwald and Wengen/Lauterbrunnen. Motorists can park their car in Grindelwald Grund or Lauterbrunnen, and travel further by train from there.
