Introduction

The route Sillerenbühl – Hahnenmoospass is an easy trail with hardly any difference in height. It’s also called Blumenweg: the names of the many flowers along the path are indicated at signs. You will have a view over a fresh green landscape, surrounded by snow covered peaks such as the Rinderhorn, Altels, Wildstrubel, Glacier de la Plaine Morte, Weisshorn and Albristhorn on the horizon. At the Hahnenmoos pass, you can even see some mountains belonging to the canton of Wallis.

Transportation to Sillerenbühl

From Adelboden, take the gondola up to Sillerenbühl. Adelboden can be reached by car or by bus from Frutigen. There is a large parking lot at the mid station of Oey. Will you be traveling to and from hiking areas frequently? A Swiss Pass or one of the other passes grants easy access to the entire Swiss Travel System (trains, buses, boats and mountain transportation).

From Sillerenbühl, follow the signs to Hahnenmoospass.

Transportation from Hahnenmoospass

You will travel to Geils by gondola, and then by bus to Adelboden. From Adelboden you can travel further by car, or by bus to the railway station of Frutigen.
