    Hi,

We are staying at Interlaken and plan to visit Zermatt for excursions.

We also wish to do Ticinio tour on the same day, Is it possible? Further, we have purchased STP so whether all trains to Ticinio including Boat/Cruise etc will be free or we have to make some additional payment.

Whether it is advisable to visit Ticinio first and from there go to Zermatt and at day end reach Interlaken.

    Please advise.

    Regards

    Devender Khurana

    Hello Devender,

That is not practical as a single day trip from Interlaken. Well not unless you simply want to hop from train to train and not stop anywhere to look around.

A quick check of the SBB Timetable (http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable) will confirm that.

Not possible in one day, sorry.

Interlaken is not a good place to be if you want to do a day trip to Ticino

    Hello Devender,

As stated by the two other members, I also think that doing Interlaken, Zermatt AND Ticino in a day will be just a bit too much travelling. But do use our timetable to find out yourself about travelling times and available connections.

Maybe you can fit it into your itinerary somewhere else, as it’s for sure a nice area to visit:

Happy planning, we’re here for any input.

    Best,
    Steph
