I do not quite understand your question.
If you are thinking that there are cheap long distance buses providing journeys ENTIRELY WITHIN Switzerland, then you are wrong. (If you have a Half Fare Card, fares on the regular rail-based Swiss public transport are reasonable.) (How did you get to Murren?)

Further to my previous reply, I have now found a ‘thread’ which you started on November 8th 2023 for a trip to the Berner Oberland in August 2024. Yolanda, one of MySwissAlps moderators, kindly provided a very detailed response to your queries. What she said then would seem to be equally applicable to a simple trip from Zurich to Murren and return.

Hi G2taf,
In addition to Roger’s helpful reply.
If your trip Mürren to Zurich is your only journey, and depending when you are planning to travel, you may want to look into a Supersaver ticket as a cheaper option. However Supersaver tickets are not always available and they are date and time specific. If you miss your departure or connection, you would need to buy a new ticket.
More on Supersaver tickets here:
Sometimes Saver Day Passes, when purchased in advance can also be quite favourable in price. A Saver Day Pass would not cover all of the trip Mürren-Zurich, you would still need to buy a ticket for the Mürren-Wengen section but you never know, if the Saver Day Pass is cheap, plus the additional section, it may work out a better choice.
All about Saver Day Passes below, there are some purchase options too:
Kind regards,
Yolanda

Hi G2taf,
Will you be having a rail pass? If so, it might offer discounted or even free travel between Mürren and Zurich. A pass often helps you save money. You can refer to your previous threads and to https://www.myswissalps.com/travel/tickets/compare/ for help finding the right one.
