Mumbai to Zurich on 7th May, Zurich to Mumbai on 22nd May

    • 4 Nights at Lucerne(lucerne to Interlaken, by Golden Pass Train)
    • 4 Nights at Interlaken (Stay at Wangen Or Murren Or Interlaken), Wangen or Murren is good choice
    • 3 Nights at Zermatt (Interlaken to Zermat, by Golden Pass Train)
    • 3 Nights at ST Motiz (Zermatt to St Motiz by Glacier Express Route).

Not sure, what is exciting at ST Motiz, but including only for Glacier Express Train route. Can be eliminate if something good alternative.

Is this good plan or something need to alter.

Hi hkapm789, thanks for joining us!

I think you’re making a good choice by staying a couple of nights in each town. Note that the town names are Wengen and St. Moritz. Wengen and Mürren are both wonderful. Wengen is a bit more centrally located for your day trips. Our pages about Lucerne, Interlaken, Zermatt and St. Moritz provide additional information and tips about things to do. Like most places in Switzerland, St. Moritz also offers plenty to do and see.

Please note that Interlaken to Zermatt is not the Golden Pass route, unless you choose for a detour via Montreux.

A 15-day Swiss Travel Pass would fit your plans. Please see myswissalps.com/ swisstravelpass for tips, what’s included and where to best buy.

    Hi,

    Thanks for you reply.

Between Golden Pass, Wilhelm Tell Express and Glacier Express, which is best. We plan to do 2 of these three scenic route?

We planing to stay 4 days at Interlaken, but dont know what to do for 4 days, because we are with familywith 2 (5 years) kids.

    Hi hkapm789,

They’re all great and everyone has their own preferences. I would suggest to look into the details at myswissalps.com/ activities/ scenictrips/ train and see which ones fit your plans best, also geographically (the Glacier Express makes sense).

There are lots of suggestions for Interlaken on the page I already gave you. You can stay for weeks there without doing the same thing twice. The easier hikes are suitable for kids too and not to be missed.

May be you can cut your stay in St Moritz and Zermatt to two nights and add 2 nights at Montreux with a day trip to Geneva .
