Hi , Just like to check some advices here ( fyi we only got The Half Card )

We be spending almost 2 full days in this region ,

    1) Murren and off to Schilthorn ( if weather permit) and then after that to Lauterbrunnen the bus stops at the Trummelbach Falls.

Question : will it be better to take Train from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen then bus + cable car to Gimmelwald ? or just take train to Murren then cable car ?

Should I get this : shop.switzerlandtravel centre.com/en/overview /exc ursion ? then separate train and bus ticket get on the spot ?

    2) Hope to visit Jungfrau on day 2 from Gimmelwald then after that hope to walk down one part of the trip when coming down , from Eigergletscher to Kleine Scheidegg ? Then after that hope to visit First and do some activities before heading back to Murren/Gimmelwald.

Am confuse about this part , what tickets should I get for this ? also how is the best way to connect these few places ?

    Thanks

    Hi, KolaX –

First, we need to know when you will be in Switzerland, as the time of year will determine whether some of your planned rides will be open, like cable cars.

    Hi KolaxX!

    1) There are two routes to reach Mürren. They’re described at myswissalps.com/schilt horn/gettingthere. Both are perfectly fine. You can buy tickets with the proper 50% discount in advance through myswissalps.com/schilt horn/packages, or at the spot before boarding. They’re available from ticketing machines or from manned desks at the railway stations. Just explain what route you’re interested in and show your Swiss Half Fare Card.

    2) Yes, you can hike down part of the route. That would be the Eiger Trail between Eigergletscher and Alpiglen. Note that it’s not an easy hike, and it’s recommended that you have some experience hiking in the mountains and that you’re well prepared. Please refer to myswissalps.com/hiking /preparation and myswissalps.com/hiking /etiquette. The section Kleine Scheidegg-Alpiglen would be easier (although that too is quite a descent ;-)). If you leave early in the morning, you should be able to visit First in the afternoon.

The timetable allows you to plan your trips, even each separate leg of them if you like: myswissalps.com/timeta ble. How to arrange for discounted tickets with your Swiss Half Fare Card is explained at myswissalps.com/swissh alffarecard/howtouse.
