Unfortunately, your travel dates coincide with the low-season maintenance period for some mountain transport, which means they will be closed. You will still have some options though:
Open/operating while you are there
- Gondola Grindelwald to First
- Funicular Interlaken to Harder Kulm
- Bus Lauterbrunnen to Stechelberg
A bit further afield, the following are also operating/open
- Aareschlucht (Aare Gorge) – west entrance only; retrace your steps to exit
- Ballenberg Open Air Museum
- Gondola Beatenberg to the Niederhorn
Closed/not operating for part of the time while you are there
- Cable car Lauterbrunnen to Grütschalp – closed 30 April to 4 May; during this time you can get to Mürren by bus to Stechelberg and cable car Stechelberg-Mürren
- Cable car Mürren to the Schilthorn – closed 23-27 April
Closed/not operating at all while you are there
- Gondola Grindelwald Grund to Männlichen – closed 3 April to 25 May
- Cable car Wengen to Männlichen – closed 3 April to 31 May
- Funicular Mürren to Allmendhubel – closed 9 April to 22 June
For most of the attractions that are open/operating, you can use the search feature of the MySwissAlps website to find further information about them.
