    Hi everyone!!!

Thank you MySwissAlps for creating such a great website, it has been an invaluable resource for researching this holiday and building an itinerary.

Background – We are two Australian female travellers in our mid 50’s, looking forward to visiting Switzerland in June/July for 21 days. Though this is my 6th holiday in Switzerland (in 8 years), my friend, on the other hand, has yet to visit Switzerland so I am mindful around making this trip an enjoyable one for her as well as myself so I am looking for feedback to see if I have included enough activities for a 1st time visitor as well as making it interesting for a Swiss travel veteran (lol)!!! Our main interests are food, wine and music (the itinerary has been built around the Montreux Jazz festival), we are not hikers per see but are keen to take in nature and the beautiful scenery Switzerland has to offer. We will be flying into Zurich on the 22nd June, staying overnight and then travelling to Vitznau for 6 nights, then onto Vevey for 5 nights, Gstaad for 4 nights, Locarno for 4 nights then overnighting in Zurich in preparation for our flight back to Sydney on the 13th July. Though I have stayed in both Vevey (4 times) and Gstaad (twice) on previous trips, both Lucerne and Locarno (and the Ticino region) are somewhat of a mystery so any advice on those cities/regions would also be greatly appreciated.
