3 nights in Spiez or Grindelwald? Suggestions?

    Torn about where to stay late September. We have a 2 bedroom loft, top floor with 2 balconies in Spiez with mountain and Lake Thun views or a 2 bedroom basement apartment in Grindelwald with a terrace and mountain views. We want to do some hikes from Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. Welcome any advice. Thanks

    Hi nmhamel,

    If your focus is on hiking near Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen then I would definitely choose the Grindelwald accommodation!

    Hi nmhamel,

    Grindelwald is a lovely place to stay. I suggest that, before booking, you look up the address of the apartment on Google Maps so you are aware of how close it is to the railway station or a bus stop in Grindelwald. It might also be worth enquiring whether there is any pick-up and drop-off service on your days of arrival and departure.

    If you need to get to your apartment by bus, Grindelwald village buses run until about 6-7pm.
