Welcome to MySwissAlps!
To help get you started, I would suggest to look at these threads to give you ideas/inspirations for the things you like to see and do while you are in Switzerland and to make your planning easier:

I assume you will be in Zurich as your base for your 4 days travel? Please look at these links about Zurich:

Here are some hotel suggestions in Zurich:

There are wonderful boat tours to see the Lake Zurich which I highly recommend:

My personal favorite is the “Zurich tour with a boat ride and the visit to the Lindt chocolate factory.” Just click on the link below and when you get there, just click the orange button that reads “Details & prices” it will direct you to the booking from there.

You also mentioned that you would like to see at least one of the Swiss Alps, here I have attached some more links to help you plan:

If you one to see one mountain top in Switzerland, I highly recommend the Jungfraujoch-top of Europe. Just note, it is a not a excursion that’s friendly to your wallet! However, if you want to see at least one mountain, you must go see the highlight of all mountains…Jungfraujoch

Last but not least, is getting around in Switzerland while you are here. The Swiss public transportation system is one of the best in the world!

Please look into the 4 day Swiss train pass called “Swiss Travel Pass.” They have one for 4 day consecutive traveling, which would be perfect for you while you are in Switzerland. I will attach the link so you may read the other added bonuses of purchasing the Swiss Travel Pass.

Here is also some links by train when you travel to Rome from Switzerland. The Swiss train system is efficient and to travel to neighboring cities like Rome, there is really no need to take the airplane because all the cities are quite close.

I wish you happy Switzerland travel planning!

Your post duplicates some of and adds nicely to the information provided for Boyznme1 in the thread linked by his/her earlier first post on the same topic, as I linked in my post.
I’ll comment that Pilatus may be more easily and cheaply reached from Zürich than the justly famous Jungfraujoch. To be very fussy and technically precise, Jungfraujoch is not the top of the Jungfrau…it is the saddle near the peak. Das Joch means pass or saddle ( geographical usage).

Pilatus lets you get very close to the top, and the station is named Pilatus Kulm, which means Pilatus summit.
The slightly higher peak , der Esel, visible in one image, may not be accessible. I recall that there are military installations there.
See attachments.
