Your day 2, you may consider train to Flüelen then boat back to Luzern with break in journey at Vitznau for Rigi. Train Flüelen to Weggis would require going via Arth-Goldhau and then over Rigi to Weggis. There are many permutations for this day out.

Train to Brünnen and bus to Vitznau will work. Then boat Weggis to Luzern?

There is some interesting exhibitions going on at the Landesmuseum in Zurich right now: https://www.nationalmu seum.ch/e/zuerich/ & the Kunsthaus is always a good for art as well: http://www.kunsthaus.c h/en/

For a self-guided walking tour of Zurich look on the list here: https://www.myswissalp s.com/zurich/activitie s

Above all take it easy on that ankle. Hopefully some of the hikes you will try won’t be too hard on it.
