Hello,

We , 2 adults and one child (5 yrs)are going to Switzerland in last week of April this year and planning to stay 4 days in Interlaken, 2 days in Luzern and 1 day in Gstaad. We will take mountain cable car, Gondola, train in Jungfrau region and our visit in Interlaken will include Halderkulm, Grindewald first, Schilithorn, Murren, Wengen ,Jungfraujoch, - top of Europe , Lauterbrunnen and Lake Brienz boat tour . I am just wondering whether we should buy only half fare card and pay half fair for individual trip or combine half fare card with Jungfrau travel pass for 4 days .

I would really appreciate if anybody could share the price details for train route , gondola/cable car and attractions with half fare card

Thanks

Rudra

Hello Rudra,

Thank you for sharing your plans.

Many members of this forum find it helpful to use our link "How to choose a rail pass" when trying to find the best option. Here is the link:

At first glance, I think the Jungfrau Travel Pass or the Berner Oberland Pass could be options for you, combined with the Swiss Half Fare Card (this would give you discounts on the respective passes and any non-discounted trips you may take from Lucerne). That said, do use the calculation spreadsheet above, to be sure :-)

For pricing details: take a look at this timetable link, there are paragraphs explaining how to find pricing : https://www.myswissalps.com/timetable or another option is via any of price sections on our activity (what to do) pages: www.myswissalps.com/activities.

This leads me to some links that will be helpful for you :-)

I hope this helps, feel free to reach out with any further questions.

Kind regards,

Yolanda
