Hello,
Our family of 3 will travel to Switzerland on April 8, we have Swiss travel pass purchased already. we also booked hotel in Interlaken for 3 nights, April 11-14. The part of our itinerary for these 3 days is not clear yet
thats what I’ve planned so far,
04/08 – 04/11 lausanne (visit Chamonix/ Mont Blank, Montreux / Chillon Castle)
1.04/11 arriving to Interlaken from Lausanne via golden pass at 12:45.
2.depending on weather, go to Jungfraujoch with good afternoon tickets, or do Lauterbrunnen valleywalk.
3. 04/12 also depending on weather- jungfrau or take cable car from Stechelberg to Schilthorn pick. We can make stops in Gimmelwald and Murren along the way.
4. 04/13 we would like to take one day to visit Bern and Murten from Interlaken.
5. 04/14 we have two choices, leave early to Zurich, or stay in Benese Oberland for the most of the day and go to Luzern in the late afternoon.
6. 04/15 Luzern.
in case if we decide to stay longer in the mountains, we will have to skip Zurich at all, spend one day and two nights in Luzern and go to Zurich airport from Luzern on 04/16.
So my question is what’s better, to have more time in the mountains or have a chance to spend 04/14 half day in Zurich and also another half day in Zurich 0n 04/16 before our 5:30 flights back to US?
we will definitely appreciate all inputs. Thank you in advance!

I would go to Luzern on 4/14 and skip Zurich. Luzern is far more interesting. If you only go on 4/15 you will not have enough time there. During the dates of your visit it is a good pick. The Jungfrau Region will be very slow and other than the trips you are planning there many sites will not be available
