    Hi,

    Greetings for the Day!!

I have following doubts with respect to 9 O’clock Pass of Zurich

    1. I wanted to confirm that if we purchase 9 O clock pass(all zones) with Swiss Half Fare card, it comes for CHF 13.40 ? If we purchase this, then whether we are entitled for free journeys on all trains in all zones of Zurich, Winterthur or will be entitled for discounted tickets on trains.

    2. On many websites, it appears that Train station Schloss Laufen am Rheinfall (Neuhausen am Rhienfall not covered) is covered under validity of 9 O clock Pass. It means that we can travel to/from Rhinefalls for free with this 9 o Clock Pass. Please confirm the same.

    3. Limmat River Cruise and Lake Zurich (small round trip to long round trip boat tours), all are covered in 9 o clock pass or not. Please confirm

    4. 9 O clock passes are available in abundance and can be easily purchased on day of travel

    or

There are the chances that stock of 9 o clock passes may be exhausted on or before day of travel(specially on Wednesdays), therefore these passes should be purchased in advance. Please confirm.

    5. Tourists are eligible to purchase 9 o clock pass or this is just a concept for locals.

    Thanks in advance for clarification.

    Hi Malang85,

1./2./3. Yes, CHF 13.00 to be precise 🙂 It’s valid in the area on this map: http://www.zvv.ch/zvv-assets/abos-und-tickets/zonen/tarifzon en.pdf. Schloss Laufen am Rheinfall is in the top. All the boats are also within this area.

    4. You can buy whenever you prefer, no problem.

    5. No problem either, this is for everyone.

    Enjoy your trip!
