Zurich to Grindelwald options

    Hi

    I want to visit first time I want to stay 2 days in Lucerne and 2 days in Grindelwald my question is if my flight reach Zurich at 3 pm I can directly go to Grindelwald and at night time UpTo which time railway works there or I have to rent a cab for reaching hotel if hotel is little far from station I could not get timing from timetable

    Hi Amandeep,

    Trains from Zurich airport to Grindelwald leave regularly – the last train with a connection is around 20:30.
    Best case scenario is 2 train changes, usually in Bern and Interlaken and it takes about 3 hours.

    For specific details (on the date you want) use the Swiss railways timetable here.

    It depends on which hotel you are staying at in Grindelwald as to whether you can walk or take a cab from the train station. If you haven’t booked your hotel in Grindelwald yet look here for nice options.
