Hiking and other activities in Adelboden?

    Hi,

    We are a family with two kids,9 years old Traveling with a car. We will be staying for one week in Adelboden.

    We would appreciate if you can recommend on hiking and other activities in the area.

    Hi Cobi!

    We’ve listed several hikes around Adelboden at myswissalps.com/engstl igenvalley/activities. Apart from those, I’d recommend the hike to the Simmen Falls and the “Sieben Brunnen” from which they originate. There are several cable cars to viewing points, such as Sillerenbühl/Hahnenmoos and the beautiful alpine plateau of Engstligenalp with its spectacular waterfall. You’ll find further relevant information at the Adelboden Tourism website.

    If you’re up for longer day trips, you could visit the neighbouring Simmen and Kander valleys. A boat trip over Lake Thun and visits to Stockhorn and Niesen are options as well.
